Fun things to do while you’re here

  • Want to go for long walks, sit by the creek, walk a wildflower spiral or even kayak? The property borders the West Chickamauga Creek.
  • We have meditative and reflective places to sit, ponder or journal in our Cedar Circle and around our pre-Civil War oak (the Spirit Tree in Spirit Tree Farms).
  • Do you sing? want to do karaoke?
  • Are you into history? If so, weather permitting, we can take a little excursion to the Chickamauga Battlefield.

Accommodations

Whether it will just be you or you and a spouse, or you and your team, we have the accommodations to fit up to 6 people. We have 3 bedrooms. One has a queen size bed, and the other two have full size beds. Please note that all bedrooms require climbing a flight of stairs. They are on the second floor. We can carry your bags up, but you’ll need to be able to climb stairs. The rooms share a bathroom.

Marnie and Dave Kuhns - Creative Expression Retreat

Marnie Pehrson Kuhns is a best-selling author of 33+ fiction and non-fiction titles. Her signature work is, “Finding Peace in a Turbulent World: Living in Sacred Nature” along with the accompanying “Living in Sacred Nature Journal/Planner,” affirmation card deck, free online course, coaching program and retreats.

As a Certified SimplyALIGN MethodTM Practitioner, Marnie is also able to help you release and side-step emotional and mental blocks standing in the way of true peace, joy, and fulfillment in life.

Her husband David Kuhns is an author, editor, curriculum developer, copywriter, creative writer and poet. Dave is an avid enthusiast of nature observation, native plants, and pollinator-friendly yards. Dave’s fun personality and zest for nature ensures you’ll have a wonderful time in this relaxed rural setting.

1- Chattanooga (20 minutes from us)
2- Atlanta (2 hours) GroomeTransportation.com has shuttles to Chattanooga
3- Nashville (2.5 hour drive … Nashville is CT and we’re ET). Again, Groome has shuttles

We can pick you up either at the Chattanooga airport if you fly in there or Groome Transportation’s Chattanooga office on Ringgold Rd., TN
